Stories Served Around The Table is sort-of moving! I am shifting the Journal On! prompts and (blog) stories to Substack. What is Substack? Glad you asked.
Substack is an online platform for writers and content creators. It’s set up like a blog-kinda like a newsletter. The aim is to streamline my content, giving me more time and brain space to actually write.
Substack allows writers to foster a community by cultivating and building a subscription-based circle. Within this circle, members can decide how much value they want to opt-in for. This means some content can be paid for but, or all of the content can be free.
The best part is that algorithms do not control what Substack members see. They can choose the creators they want to support. Readers and writers can find each other based on interest. Their connection is not determined by how algorithms place and rank using hashtags and SEOs.
For now, all of my Substack content is free. I invite you to browse through the few posts I put up this last week here https://storiesserved.substack.com/ .
Hopefully, I will soon start to share my writing journey with The Eyes of the Strega, a historical fiction novella series featuring courage, love, and magic in the least likely places.
I will hold onto Word Press and Stories Served Around The Table website for my book information and sales and the school author visit programs, There’s an Author in Our School. Book news and events will be posted in Substack (Facebook and Instagram, too, for now).
I’m going to give this a honest try. Wish me luck! Better yet, subscribe to me at https://storiesserved.substack.com/.

Thanks, Antoinette. See you on Substack!
