Good morning, Everyone. Oh, it’s afternoon already.

Sorry for the delay. I got up before the dawn this morning and piled into my Jeep Patriot. Yesterday, my daughter, Robyn and I packed the car every square inch with belongings and stuff I must have with me. I am on a road trip with Robyn, to South Carolina. We just pulled into Richmond, Virginia-the halfway point, to visit with my sister and niece. Matt will meet me on Tuesday.

Matt and I will be spending January and February on Hilton Head Island. We rented an apartment that is two and a half miles from the grandkids and 600 yards from the ocean shore. It’s going to be a great winter.

Robyn and I will continue our journey tomorrow morning. Right now, I need to walk, stretch, and go to a late lunch with the girls. I will try to catch up later this weekend.

Have a good weekend and upcoming week, Everyone.

Make it great.

  1. It does sound like it will be a great winter! The beach is great in the winter, and I’m sure being that close to grandkids will be nice. Enjoy the visit with your sister and the rest of your drive with your daughter!

  2. I’ve spent a week on Hilton Head and can only imagine how wonderful your time will be for a whole winter. Hope you have a wonderful visit! Don’t miss a trip to the ruins – for us writers may inspire!
