Good morning.
If we were having coffee together, I’d have to apologize since I am in a rush. I got up early to pick up an order of cannoli this morning, shuffled carry ons and husband into the car and set out for JFK to catch a flight to Buffalo. We are visiting an old family friend and catching up with a few college pals this weekend. I don’t want to arrive empty handed—ergo the cannoli. It will be a weekend of reminiscence and laughs. Fingers crossed for no traffic on the Southern State to the airport.
If we were having coffee together, I would tell you it had been a busy week. There are seven more weeks of teaching until the summer break. State testing is done, so we can get back on track and teach. Thankfully the weather has greatly improved, and the kids can play outside during recess.
If we were having coffee together, I would admit that the Blogging A-Z Challenge was a challenge, but I enjoyed it. I was organized and did not struggle to make my theme fit the alphabet. New blogs were discovered, too. The downside was that all other writings had to be put on hold, so I have a lot of catching up. I really need to get back on track with my new book. Perhaps a schedule?
That’s it. Boarding will be called soon.

If we were having coffee together, I’d be having an iced tea and thinking about how this traditionally is our first week-end to head over to Davis Park for house prepping and Kentucky Derby shenanigans. My, you do get around my dear. Enjoy Buffalo and your tasty treats!

Congratulations on getting through the A-Z. It’s a real achievement, which you can only appreciate when you’ve done it yourself. That said, I always go overboard, but I just follow where it takes me and I’ve been trying to get a book together for so long and the format has really worked well for me.
