Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanza, & New Year
1. Matt and I traveled to the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Flagstaff, then caught up with Robyn and Tommy in Tucson where they were working and living in a van for a few months.
2. Robyn and Tommy married in April. We celebrated in the Truglio backyard (this was the 7th wedding in the yard) and had a beautiful 5-day party.
3. Famous Seaweed Soup re-launched with updated content, new illustrations and publisher, and joy.
4. Another spectacular Truglio backyard wedding (#8) for niece Erica and her Mike in June.
5. Boat engines gave Matt some aggravation, but we eventually got in some nice sails and day trips to the beach. We spent our usual happy week at the beach, too. I sailed my sunfish in a weekly women’s Sunfish series (so much fun).
6. We visited Hallie and family on Hilton Head Island (their home) and the tribe made the trip to Sayville a couple of times. The kids are growing fast and fill daily agendas. Lily is 9 and Teddy is 6.
7. Robyn and Tommy sold the van, bought a house in Bend Oregon (sigh), and are expecting a baby in May (deeper sigh). We expect to travel across the country several times in 2024.
8. Sara continues to live and work in Brooklyn. If you need a tattoo, contact her for amazing wearable art.
9. Matt is doing well with all of his bionic joints. I continue to be the most boring Stage 4 patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Mom is fine. She has a lot of kids, grandkids, and great-grands bothering her.
10. Matt and I send loving hugs and best wishes for a Joyous Holiday to our Everyone. We are incredibly thankful for our blessings and pray for peace in our world.

Sounds like a great year Antoinette. Oh, we love Bend Oregon…we are about 4 hours from there in Washington state but it is one of our go to family vacation spots. When our girls were little we’d go every year. We always stay in Sunriver.
